Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Minnesota:Winona is seeking a Test Operator to perform ICT and Go/No Go testing on boards, subassemblies, and products using a variety of test equipment.

This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read schematics, and strong quality documentation. You will set up equipment, record results, mentor others, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4+ years of advanced electronic test experience.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, assembly prints and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to train and cross-train on new equipment.
• Ability to support a 24/7 global operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment; understand test and assembly processes for each board or system.
• Operate test equipment and record failure parameters in the QMS (PFS).
• Identify component types and read values or ICs, resistors, capacitors, etc.
• Identify workmanship defects and apply defect tags per QA procedures.
• Follow procedures for frequency/voltage adjustment and read meters against tests.
• Maintain records of tested units and use statistical process control charts.
• Configure equipment and interpret basic test results.
• Lead and mentor other Test Operators.
