Job summary

Benchmark in Huntsville, AL is seeking a dedicated tester to perform ICT and functional Go/No Go testing on electronic assemblies, PCBs, and products. You will use test equipment and document results in the Quality Management System, supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires 2+ years of advanced electronic testing, ability to read schematics, operate DMMs, oscilloscopes, and multimeters, and a commitment to quality in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of advanced electronic test experience (FCT/HASS)
• Ability to use hand tools and general test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscope, etc.)
• Read and understand schematics, drawings, assembly prints and procedures
• Commitment to IPC quality standards and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Sets up test equipment and understands test procedures for boards and systems
• Operates test equipment and records failure parameters in the Quality Management System
• Identifies components and reads values on PCB assemblies
• Marks defects following QA procedures and ensures traceability
• Performs troubleshooting up to PCA level and documents findings
• Mentors other testers and assists engineers as needed
