Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking a Test Technician in Minnesota:Winona, full-time, Shift 4, Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00. The role provides support and debugging for test processes in manufacturing, with responsibilities from debugging assemblies to tester maintenance and operator training.

Ideal candidates have 0-3+ years electronics experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics. Safety-sensitive position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 0-3+ years of electronics experience.
• 2 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism.
• Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs debug and test assemblies to component level using block diagrams and schematics.
• Maintains tester and performs upkeep.
• Troubleshoots operator problems and works with leadership on training and process improvements.
• Provides training and ongoing support to Test operators.
• Communicates problems to Test Engineer and/or leader.
• Assists in experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
• Complies with security policies and procedures.
