Job summary

RTX's Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team in Tucson is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to verify power, analog and mixed-signal electronics. You will contribute to the development and integration of cutting‑edge technologies for DoD programs, operating in lower power and voltage ranges.

You will conduct testing, design test plans, lead root‑cause investigations, support production transitions, provide mentoring, and partner with program teams to meet cost, schedule and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Experience in electronics testing, including integration and verification of power and/or analog-oriented products.
• Experience with circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
• Experience with hardware testing methodologies and/or root‑cause corrective action investigations.

Responsibilities

• Test power, analog, and digital electronics products.
• Work with cross-functional teams on development, integration, and sustainment of power systems, servo electronics, and mixed-signal electronics.
• Design and implement test plans to ensure product functionality and reliability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for test anomalies.
• Support transitions from development to production with quality controls.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Partner with programs to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
