Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a Senior Test Engineer II to join a collaborative engineering team. You will help ensure reliable and scalable test solutions across a broad portfolio of RF and microwave products, designing and maintaining automated test stations, fixtures, and interfaces.

You will develop test software, select fixtures, and evaluate equipment while mentoring junior engineers. Strong collaboration across engineering, product management, and support is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in EE, CS, or related field required.
• 7.5–9 years of software development experience listed in the ad.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.
• Familiar with Configuration Management principles and tools.
• Strong electronics understanding and ability to read schematics.
• Proficient in Windows software tools and design software.

Responsibilities

• Design, upgrade, and maintain automated test stations and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain test software and data structures.
• Design test fixtures, sockets and interface PCBs.
• Evaluate, procure test equipment and software for production needs.
