Job summary

Mini-Circuits is seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to perform electrical testing of RF components, develop robust test methods, and troubleshoot measurement systems. You will lead testing operations, generate detailed reports, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires hands-on RF testing expertise, familiarity with high-frequency test equipment, and ability to coordinate with design and automation teams to implement new test setups.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years RF test experience OR BS with 5+ years testing experience
• Hands-on RF and microwave component testing
• Strong RF measurement knowledge: transmission lines, S-parameters, impedance matching
• Experience with RF test equipment: VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes
• Familiarity with automated test systems and test software development preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to mentor others

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing of RF components in accordance with production requirements, catalog specifications, and customer specifications
• Troubleshoot RF measurement setups and resolve testing issues
• Develop and initiate setups for complex RF measurements and new test systems
• Record, analyze, and verify the accuracy of test data and results
• Identify defects through inspection and failure analysis of test samples
• Prepare detailed written test reports summarizing procedures, data, analysis, and conclusions
• Develop new RF test methods and setup block diagrams with input from multiple teams
• Train and mentor new and existing personnel on RF test setups and best practices
• Collaborate with software and automation engineers for development of new test programs and integration of new equipment
