Leidos seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer to deliver mission‑critical software for intelligence operations. The role emphasizes automating UI and API tests using Playwright, Bruno, and Postman within an Agile Chinook program.

You will collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to strengthen quality and secure delivery, with primary work locations including Gaithersburg, MD, and Alexandria, VA.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands‑off experience in software test automation, quality engineering, or software development with a strong emphasis on automated testing.
• Demonstrated hands‑off experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright.
• Practical experience using Bruno and/or Postman to develop, execute, and validate API tests.
• Strong programming experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript for test automation development.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for modern web‑based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright for web application functionality and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain automated API tests using Bruno and/or Postman to validate RESTful services and data integrity.
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks supporting functional, integration, end‑to‑end, and regression testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and early defect detection.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to define acceptance criteria and implement automated testing strategies within each sprint.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test scripts from user stories and system specs.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects in Jira.
