Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design and deliver turnkey test systems for electronic products. You will lead end-of-line testing and collaborate with firmware, software, and hardware teams to optimize safety, reliability, and timing.

The role requires hands-on design, hardware/software integration, and a track record of delivering scalable test solutions for electronic components and systems, with an emphasis on data-driven validation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on experience designing functional test equipment.
• 2+ years in schematic capture and PCBA layout; Altium is a plus.
• Experience scripting to develop automation (Python, C/C++, MATLAB); LabVIEW a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-of-line test plan definition with firmware, software, and hardware teams.
• Determine test strategies for safety, reliability, risk, and schedule.
• Design and test PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on testing and rework.
• Analyze data and communicate results to design engineers to resolve issues.
• Design and implement next-gen test automation hardware for fast, repeatable testing.
• Oversee purchasing, build, integration and commissioning of functional testers.
• Develop test procedures from component to system level.
• Support board bring-up and bench validation.
• Provide feedback from test results to improve quality and coverage.
