Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design and deliver turnkey test systems for electronic products. You will lead end-of-line test strategies, collaborate with firmware, software, and hardware teams, and own hardware/software integration and sustainment.

The role requires hands-on testing, PCBA design, and development of automated test solutions. You will contribute to data-driven decisions, support manufacturing test bring-up, and participate in design reviews within a

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years designing functional test equipment.
2+ years in schematic capture and/or PCBA layout; Altium Designer a plus.
Experience in scripting for automation (C/C++/C#, Python, MATLAB). LabVIEW a plus.
Experience with peripherals and test/validation strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead end-of-line test plan definition with firmware, software, and hardware teams.
Determine test strategies for safety, reliability, risk, and FMEA coverage.
Design and test PCBA and electrical system components with hands-on testing and rework.
Analyze data and communicate results to design engineers to resolve problems.
Design and implement next-gen test automation hardware for fast, repeatable testing.
Handle purchasing, build, integration and commissioning of testers.
Develop test procedures from component to system level.
Support board bring-up and bench validation as needed.
Provide feedback from tests to improve quality and coverage.
Assist manufacturing test bring-up and yield.
Participate in design reviews.
