Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to lead End of Line test systems for our radio products. You will collaborate with firmware, software, and hardware teams to define test strategies, develop PCBA and RF test capabilities, and ensure fast, reliable validation across production lines.

You will design automated test hardware, manage purchasing and assembly of testers, and mentor engineers while supporting DFT and root cause analysis to improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands on electrical engineering experience designing functional test equipment.
• 3+ years of experience in Schematic Capture and/or PCBA layout; Altium Designer a plus.
• 2+ years of scripting to develop automation (C/C++/C#/Python/MATLAB); LabVIEW a plus.
• Experience with peripherals and developing test and validation strategies.
• Advanced experience with hardware communication bus protocols: USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, serial comms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development from prototype to production.
• Understanding of lab safety protocols in lab environments.
• Familiarity with measurement analysis techniques and process capability.
• GitHub or similar revision control experience.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-of-line test systems and plans for new radio products with firmware, software, hardware, and manufacturing teams.
• Define test methodologies and strategies to optimize safety, reliability, risk, and schedule.
• Design and test PCBA, electrical systems, and RF components with hands-on testing and rework.
• Analyze data and communicate results; collaborate with design engineers to resolve issues.
• Design and implement next-gen test automation hardware for fast, repeatable testing.
• Oversee purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional testers.
• Develop test procedures and automation from component to system level.
• Support board bring-up and bench validation; provide feedback to improve quality and coverage.
• Support DFT discussions and root cause analysis; contribute to design reviews.
• Mentor engineering teams and participate in design reviews.
