Job summary

ACV Auctions in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to grow ACV's dealer partnerships across the territory. You will own the full sales cycle from identifying prospects to closing, with a commitment to face-to-face relationship building and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• 5+ years selling within the automotive industry.
• Track record closing deals with high-level decision makers.
• CRM fluency (Salesforce) to manage pipeline.
• Strong analytic mindset using data to prioritize outreach.
• Mobile, territory-based role with daily field travel.
• Excellent relationship-building with in-person, phone, and writing.
• English fluency; valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a prioritized prospect list in the territory.
• Execute high-volume outreach via in-person visits, calls, and events.
• Qualify prospects using opportunity framework and assess opportunities.
• Lead in-person discovery meetings to understand client needs.
• Position ACV offerings with data-driven value propositions.
• Conduct live in-person platform demos and educate dealers on policies.
• Introduce additional ACV products for a full-service solution.
• Negotiate and close seller agreements and pricing.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers for handoffs.
• Record and manage pipeline in Salesforce daily; track activity.
• Hit or exceed sales targets; monitor regional market dynamics.
