Job summary

BrightBridge Credit Union in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Lead Teller to deliver exceptional member service, process a broad range of transactions, and support branch operations. You’ll build relationships with members and guide them to suitable credit union products and services, while maintaining accuracy and security in daily cash handling.

The role requires at least two years in customer service or teller experience, strong communication, and cross-sell capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years customer/member service or cash handling/teller experience required.
• Minimum of one year in financial institution in a customer service oriented position preferred.
• Proven cross sales ability required.
• Flexibility of work hours and proven reliability/dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Process a wide variety of transactions for members (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, IRA deposits/withdrawals).
• Uncover member needs and present product benefits; refer to CU partner for fulfillment.
• Assist in opening/closing the branch; back-up to Teller Operations Supervisor or Assistant Branch Manager.
• Balance ATM and cash vault; balance cash drawer and settle daily activities.
• Train or coach tellers; participate in product knowledge and selling skills training.
• Support coverage on Saturdays and occasional travel to alternate locations as needed.
