Job summary

FirstBank in Lexington, TN seeks a Senior Teller to be a lead member of the teller team, delivering service excellence and handling transactions in line with bank policies.

You will assist customers, educate on digital banking options, and recognize cross-sell opportunities while maintaining accuracy, security, and confidentiality in daily operations. This role requires reliability and a collaborative approach with the Teller Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years teller experience.
• Must be bonded within first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactional needs according to guidelines and service standards.
• Supervise and maintain daily operational standards including cash drawer security and balance.
• Educate customers on products and digital solutions such as mobile, online, ATM services.
• Recognize customer needs and refer to bank partners for cross-sell opportunities.
• Resolve difficult transactional situations and present solutions.
• Protect the bank by following confidentiality guidelines and bank procedures.
• Produce and analyze branch logs and reports as necessary.
• Serve as back-up to Teller Manager and lead the branch in delivering FirstBank service.
• Adhere to security protocols and regulatory requirements; maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
