Job summary

Salesforce is seeking engineers to architect, implement, deliver, and operate telemetry agents and instrumentation libraries that power observability at Salesforce scale. Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building highly scalable, available, real-time data collection services.
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python and containerized environments (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on with OpenTelemetry and telemetry pipelines; familiarity with OpAMP is a plus.
• Excellent communication for distributed teams and agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, deliver, and operate telemetry agents and instrumentation libraries.
• Design and maintain OpenTelemetry Collector pipelines and related tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enable observability at scale.
