Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Telecommunications Designer to design, model and document telecom facilities for advanced manufacturing and research sites. The role offers hybrid work flexibility across the U.S. and opportunities to lead major project components in coordination with architects and other disciplines.

You will work with Revit MEP, BIM delivery and compliant NEC/TIA standards to deliver complete telecom packages and coordinate with clients and design staff.

Competenze

• Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree.
• At least 5 years of relevant telecommunications design experience.
• Knowledge of TIA standards and BICSI practices.
• Experience leading a telecommunications design team.
• Experience with start-up and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Experience estimating and scheduling for large multi-building projects.

Mansioni

• Provide design, modeling and documentation for telecom design on advanced facilities.
• Lead portions of large, complex projects as a telecom scope owner.
• Interface with client counterparts to meet design needs.
• Utilize Revit MEP for fully coordinated 3D BIM across disciplines.
• Develop Outside Plant, backbone layouts, cable schedules and room plans.
