Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Telecommunications BIM Designer to join our telecom design team on advanced facilities projects, including semiconductor manufacturing sites. You will document telecom design, provide design, modeling and documentation services, and expand your Revit expertise under discipline leads.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in telecommunications BIM design for complex facilities.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of Revit BIM design experience.
• Proficiency with NavisWorks
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry.
• Understanding of codes and standards shape design decisions.
• Understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Document telecom design and expand BIM skillset.
• Provide design, modeling, and documentation services for telecom projects.
