Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Sr. Telecommunications Designer to lead telecom design on advanced facilities projects, including semiconductor manufacturing.

You will provide design, modeling and documentation for the telecom team, coordinating with architects and other engineers within Jacobs. This hybrid, US-based role offers opportunities to lead large projects, interface with client counterparts, and deliver fully coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit MEP, Navisworks, and related

Competenze

• Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree.
• At least 5 years of relevant telecommunications design experience.
• Knowledge of TIA standards.
• Knowledge of BICSI design practices.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements.
• Experience leading a telecommunications design team.
• Experience editing design and construction specifications.
• Experience with start-up and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Experience estimating and scheduling design efforts for large multi-building projects.
• Strong structured cabling design background.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Navisworks.

Mansioni

• Lead portions of large telecom projects as scope owner.
