Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking a Sr. Telecommunications Designer to lead telecom design on large, complex facilities projects in a hybrid U.S.

setting. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver fully coordinated 3D BIM models and robust design packages, from OSP to backbone systems. The role requires strong leadership, extensive telecom design experience, and familiarity with TIA, NEC, and BICSI standards.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree.
• 5+ years of telecommunications design and construction experience.
• Knowledge of TIA standards, BICSI design practices and NEC electrical design.
• Experience leading a telecommunications design team.

Responsibilities

• Lead portions of large telecom projects as a scope owner with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with architects and design leads to deliver BIM and 2D sheets.
• Interface with client counterparts to tailor facilities and designs.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, TIA and client specifications.
