Job summary

gFiber is seeking a Program Manager for the Outage Task Force to ensure strategic schedules and high-impact projects are delivered efficiently across engineering, operations, construction, budgeting, forecasting, and planning.

You will lead cross-functional teams, refine initiatives, deploy new technologies, and optimize network reliability across markets while collaborating with internal and external partners and managing complex, multi-workstream programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of leadership experience in Telecommunications, Consulting, Oil & Gas, or other capital project-related industries.
• Experience managing complex schedules with a diverse vendor base, leading annual planning cycles, developing and managing contracts, invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, project reporting (cost, status, risks), procurement, and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to travel up to 15% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end programs and cross-functional operational processes.
• Lead cross-functional post-mortem investigations, root cause analysis and preventative actions.
• Audit outage tickets for accuracy, elevate discrepancies, and ensure data alignment across teams.
• Manage Outage Taskforce project workflows, track milestones and budgets, report on status to stakeholders, and manage change across the cross-functional team.
• Oversee Defcon protocols to enforce outage mitigation restrictions and maintain daily status communications with market leadership.
