The role focuses on technology middle market insurance, evaluating risks, and pricing coverage terms while maintaining strong broker relationships. The position demands deep knowledge of commercial lines underwriting, pricing methods, and a consultative sales approach; travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of commercial lines underwriting standards and practices along with rating/pricing methods.
• Ability to analyze customers’ business information and claims history.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a Texas book of business.
• Analyze customers’ business information and claims history to underwrite risks.
• Collaborate with agents/brokers to develop profitable relationships.
• Lead renewal pricing and account stewardship for the territory.
• Document underwriting files to support analysis, coverage terms and pricing.
• Travel as needed within the Texas territory.
