Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Technology Underwriter in the United States with 5–10+ years of tech underwriting experience. You will identify, underwrite and price technology risk across middle market accounts, collaborating with agents and internal teams in a hybrid or remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-10+ years standard commercial lines and 5+ years Technology Industry experience.
• Strong communication, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Agile and adaptive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price Technology specialty coverages with limited guidance.
• Manage assigned portfolio to meet growth, profitability and retention goals.
• Identify, solicit and close new and renewal Middle Market technology-related business.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriters and cross-functional teams.
