Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a College Technology Operations leader to serve as the primary technology support professional for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, coordinating services and directing Technology Support Specialists and student staff.

In collaboration with ITS and college leadership, you will guide technology projects, align initiatives with campus standards, monitor service levels, and promote effective, secure operations across the college.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills for persuasion and collaboration.
• Ability to provide leadership, mentorship, and work direction to staff and student workers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology support for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and coordinate services across the college.
• Provide leadership and work direction to Technology Support Specialists and student staff.
• Assign and prioritize work, monitor service delivery, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Serve as liaison between college leadership, faculty, staff, and Information Technology Services (ITS).
• Identify technology needs with college leadership and align initiatives with university objectives.
• Coordinate technology projects to meet campus standards, security requirements, and initiatives.
• Monitor service levels and propose improvements to technology operations and resource use.
