Job summary

Truist seeks a senior risk professional to serve as key contributor to the LoD2 Technology Risk team, providing independent oversight and challenging risk programs across technology domains. You will collaborate with Enterprise Technology and BUs to identify, report, and mitigate technology and related risks.

The role requires deep experience in risk management, cloud controls, and regulatory guidance, with the ability to lead complex initiatives in a matrix environment and communicate findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity to deliver value.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LoD2) for Truist Technology and related units.
• Serve as SME and steward of the Technology Risk Framework.
• Assess maturity of technology and adequacy of controls for performance, stability, security, and availability.
• Strengthen risk culture through proactive routines with technology teams and partners.
• Review and challenge outcomes of first-line-of-defense risk programs.
