Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior risk technologist to lead data risk oversight for the LoD2 Enterprise Data Risk Oversight Program across the Enterprise Data Office and related areas. You will bring deep technical knowledge of data platforms, data architecture, and AI (including Generative AI) to drive credible, governance-backed risk assessment and effective challenge.

Bachelor's degree in technology, Data, Business and/or Finance.
Fifteen plus years of senior management experience in banking, technology, operations, risk management and/or regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

Leads and drives the EDRO Coverage and Operating Model with risk advisory and independent risk assessment.
Contributes to Enterprise Data Management Policy and Data Risk Policy and related standards.
Engages senior partners to ensure EDRO requirements are understood and met.
Acts as strategic risk advisor to the EDO and maintains 2LOD independence.
Ensures compliance with laws, rules and internal policies.
Leads issues management and remediation with Enterprise Issues Management.
Develops data risk reporting and metrics across the enterprise.
Promotes a strong Truist risk culture.
Provides risk advisory to senior partners in Data Risk areas.
Supports regulatory matters planning and remediation.
Exhibits leadership aligned with Truist values.
