This role partners with enterprise tech teams and business units to identify, assess and report technology risks that could affect performance, security or availability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in banking, technology, operations or risk management, strong communication skills, and proven ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of banking, technology, operations or risk management experience.
• Strong business acumen, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with management audiences.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality work products.
• Comfort with data and deriving insights from analysis.
• Adept with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent risk oversight (LOD2) for Truist Technology and related units.
• Serve as SME and steward of the Technology Risk Framework to identify and mitigate risks.
• Execute independent assessment of technology maturity and controls.
• Strengthen proactive risk culture through collaboration with technology teams.
• Review and challenge outcomes of first-line risk program execution.
• Monitor regulatory, compliance and audit matters for assigned area.
• Contribute to complex cross-functional projects with risk impact.
• Collaborate effectively in matrix environments.
