Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a senior technology risk leader to provide LoD2 oversight across technology risk domains and business units. You will partner with enterprise technology and stakeholders to challenge risk programs and ensure effective risk identification, mitigation, and reporting.

This role emphasizes independent assessment, regulatory awareness, and the ability to lead complex projects in a matrix environment, aligning risk with business objectives and technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with substantial experience.
• 10+ years in banking, technology, operations or risk management.
• Strong business acumen, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver executive-level work.
• Comfort with data analytics to derive insights.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight (LoD2) for technology risk areas.
• Serve as SME and steward of the Technology Risk Framework.
• Assess maturity of technology controls to meet business needs.
• Foster risk culture with technology teams and partners.
• Review and challenge first-line-of-defense risk programs.
• Monitor regulatory, compliance and audit matters for oversight areas.
• Lead complex enterprise-wide technology risk projects.
• Bridge business and IT with advisory and implementation roles.
