Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to provide consultative, analytical, and documentation support for a major federal initiative. The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, SDLC documentation, and production of user and admin guides.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of technical documentation experience, excellent writing skills, and the ability to operate independently within a government-facing IT environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• 5+ years experience developing technical documentation.
• 3+ years experience developing user documentation.
• Fluency with industry standard technical reporting techniques including Agile project management.
• Ability to work independently or in a group.
• Experience with MS Office Suite including Visio.
• Willingness and ability to pass background check/security screening.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop technical documentation for IT projects.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish processes and procedures.
• Document projects through the SDLC.
• Provide status reports for multiple ongoing projects and related documentation.
• Assist with both user and admin level documentation.
