Syms Strategic Group (SSG), a remote-based employer supporting Veterans Affairs (VA), seeks an experienced Technical Writer to produce and update manuals, reports, briefs, and related publications for government contracting environments.

You will collaborate with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear documentation, manage multiple projects, and maintain document control using MS Office and collaboration tools. Government experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation such as reports, manuals, procedures, and proposals.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail and document quality.
• Ability to translate complex technical, operational, or business information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, PgMs, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather and validate information.

Responsabilités

• Write and update material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical publications.
• Refine work of writers and coordinate activities of writers preparing technical material for publication.
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain document control and ensure adherence to standards.
• Represent the organization on projects and support proposal development.
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems within scope and timeline.
