Job summary
Power3 Solutions in the Fort Meade vicinity is seeking a Technical Writer to produce and maintain technical documents across hardware and software programs. You will write installation guides, user manuals, and training materials, collaborating with engineers and analysts to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable documentation.
The role requires TS/SCI with a Polygraph and six years of related experience; a technical degree is required, with additional years substituting for a degree.
Qualifications
- Six (6) years experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Write and edit technical documentation for all hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation.
- Create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities.
