Job summary

Themis Insight in the Ft. Meade vicinity is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to produce and maintain technical documents for DoD hardware and software programs. You will collaborate with engineers to turn complex concepts into clear user guides, installation manuals, and training materials.

Six years of TW experience, a technical degree, and TS/SCI with Polygraph are required. The role offers strong benefits and opportunities across multiple projects within Themis Insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; six years TW experience in similar scope.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• Experience writing and editing technical documentation for hardware and software.
• Ability to gather information from engineers and subject-matter experts.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio for doc production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for software and systems.
• Write code documentation, installation guides and end-user manuals.
• Produce implementation guides and user training materials.
• Coordinate with engineers to gather and organize technical information.
• Maintain internal documentation library and ensure document quality.
• Publish publications from diagrams, drawings, and consultations.
