Job summary

Ops Tech Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer Level 3 at Fort Meade, MD to prepare, review, and maintain technical documents for hardware and software installations, configurations, and how-to guides.

The role requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly and 8+ years of technical writing experience (or 6+ years with a Master’s degree). This is a full-time on-site position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience as a Technical Writer, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree substituting for experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience creating data flow documentation, formatting technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for hardware and software installation.
• Write and edit how-to guides and maintenance manuals.
• Collaborate with technical staff to gather data and ensure accuracy.
