Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer II with an active TS/SCI w/ POLY to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for DoD electronic equipment and systems, including hardware and software, installation, configuration, and user guides.

You will collaborate with engineers to produce high-quality documentation, training materials, and implementation guides, ensuring clarity across diverse audiences while meeting DoD

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents for DoD hardware and software.
• Write and edit documentation for installation, configuration, and user guides.
• Create code documentation and implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities.
