Xcel Energy is seeking a Training Consultant to deliver systematic, impactful training across the company and partner sites. You will design, evaluate, and continuously improve training programs, including apprenticeships, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure outcomes align with business goals.

The role requires strong communication, adult learning expertise, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Hybrid work arrangements are available to balance field work and office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, or technical field preferred, or equivalent knowledge.
• Five years of training experience or equivalent technical work.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Utilize systematic approach to training to deliver effective training and adhere to records management requirements.
• Provide oversight and direction for apprenticeship programs and instructional staff.
• Coordinate and utilize business processes and project management in implementing training.
• Consult with customers to identify business needs and objectives and serve as the primary training contact.
• Design and maintain testing instruments and evaluate training impact and cost-benefit.
• Perform technical and process improvement consulting.
• Meet continuing technical and instructional requirements by following Training Process Procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate special projects.
