Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a professional safety/technical training consultant to deliver and manage enterprise-wide training programs. The role develops training materials, designs evaluation instruments, and analyzes trainee feedback to improve programs, with possible extended time on customer sites and coordination of apprenticeship initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, or technical field related to the subject area is preferred or equivalent knowledge.
• Five years of training experience or equivalent technical work experience related to the subject area of instruction.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

• Design and develop skills enhancement strategies to support continuous improvement and meet organizational goals.
