Xcel Energy in Minnesota is seeking a Training Consultant to provide professional safety and technical training across the Company. You will design materials, evaluate programs, and manage apprenticeship initiatives; some travel to customer sites may be required.

Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Education (or related) and 5 years of training experience; strong communication and adult-learning background; proficiency in Microsoft Office; hybrid work with onsite days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Education, or technical field related to the subject(s) in which the individual will provide instruction is preferred, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Utilize systematic approach to training to deliver effective training and design evaluation instruments.
• Provide oversight for apprenticeship programs and continuing technical training.
• Coordinate training processes and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Consult with customers to identify training needs and objectives.
• Design testing instruments and perform evaluations of training effectiveness.
