Job summary

Pepco is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to lead the development and delivery of technical training aligned with delivery procedures. The role partners with Engineering and Methods to research standards and processes, and may require extended hours during storms or outages.

The position emphasizes coaching, collaboration with union/line committees, and driving performance improvements while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or related required with 4–7 years of relevant business experience, or 6–9 years without a degree.
Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
Computer skills in Windows and common business applications.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical training content for new hires and incumbents to perform duties safely and in accordance with procedures.
Design, develop and maintain complex technical training materials using a systematic approach.
Collaborate with committees to determine technical requirements and priorities for training programs.
Develop innovative performance improvement solutions with line and training contacts.
Evaluate training effectiveness and modify program design to improve efficiency; use LMS for documentation.
Manage large-scale training projects.
