Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to develop and deliver training that integrates business processes with the knowledge employees need to perform their duties safely and effectively. The role partners with Engineering and Methods to research standards and procedures for the business, with possible extended hours during energy delivery emergencies.

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Strong observation, evaluation, coaching and feedback skills.
• Computer skills in Windows and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training content for new hire and incumbent employees.
• Design, develop and maintain complex technical training materials utilizing the systematic approach to training from analysis through evaluation.
• Partner with Line Curriculum Review Committees and Joint Union Management Training committees to determine technical requirements and priorities.
• Collaborates with Line and Training contacts to develop innovative and effective performance improvement solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through student evaluations and post-training assessments, and modify programs to increase efficiency.
• Manage large-scale training projects.
