Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a Senior Training Specialist in Maryland to develop and deliver training integrating business processes with the skills needed by employees to perform duties safely and effectively. The role partners with Engineering and Methods to set standards and procedures. Occasional extended hours may be required during storms or outages.

The position emphasizes coaching, curriculum design, and evaluating training impact. Travel may be required for training-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related with 4–7 years of experience.
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong observation, evaluation, coaching and feedback skills.
• Computer skills in Windows and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Training content for new hires and incumbents to perform duties safely and per procedures.
• Design, develop and maintain complex training materials utilizing a systematic approach.
• Partner with curriculum review committees to determine technical requirements and priorities for training programs.
• Collaborate with line and training contacts to develop innovative performance improvement solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and modify program design to increase efficiency; use the LMS to document training activities.
• Manage large-scale training projects.
