Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a senior engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team on medium to large energy projects in the United States. You will develop preliminary engineering drawings and collaborate with sales to qualify customer needs and energy solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive experience with design engineering and the ability to prepare technical documents, bid material estimates, and vendor evaluations.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience leading a multidisciplinary team on medium- to large-scale projects.
• 5+ years of progressive work experience preferred; 3+ years of design engineering.
• Experience with project engineering proposals, development and customer presentations.
• Experience in developing technical documents, drawings, material estimates for bids, RFQs, and vendor evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team on medium and large projects.
• Provide preliminary analysis and development of engineering drawings for energy solutions.
• Collaborate with solutions sales teams and customers to qualify needs and energy solutions.
• Perform design improvements to support upgrades and efficient solutions with client needs.
• Provide engineering cost estimates and bid proposals.
• Manage project timeline commitments and maintain long-term client relationships.
