Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Technical Support Analyst III in Cincinnati, OH, a hybrid role three days per week. You will onboard merchant clients, maintain configurations, and help deliver product enhancements while coordinating withLOB, Operations, Support and Development teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in CS/MIS or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in technical support with scripting and legacy COBOL/JCL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, business administration or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with detail orientation.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Boarding and support of merchant clients and maintaining client configurations and product enhancements.
• Complete certification of settlement files and generate settlement files and reports as requested.
• Engage with Line of Business, Operations, Support and Development teams to deliver service to clients.
• Complete Service Requests and resolve incidents within OLAs.
• May conduct code-level analyses to identify root causes of bugs or system modifications.
• Analyze problems, document and communicate resolutions, and follow up.
• Escalate problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Assist in documenting current policies and procedures in the knowledge management system.
