Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking an experienced technical support professional to serve as the final escalation point for complex client issues in Nevada. You will deliver advanced troubleshooting for data-driven applications, databases, APIs, and enterprise technologies, and mentor junior staff.

You will coordinate with product and engineering teams, maintain knowledge bases, and support on-call rotations to ensure customer success. A STEM Master’s is encouraged, with real-world ERP/SAP exposure.

Qualifications

6+ years of technical support, application troubleshooting, or systems engineering in a customer-facing or enterprise environment.
Ideally located on West Coast or able to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
Strong SQL and relational database experience; REST and SOAP API/web services; Oracle and SAP environments; Linux/Unix exposure.

Responsibilities

Serve as final escalation point for highly complex client issues.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for data-driven applications, databases, networking, APIs, and Java/Linux technologies.
Partner with product, engineering and support teams to communicate customer needs and rollout scalable processes.
