Job summary

In-Place Machining Company (IPM) is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with 5+ years of successful sales experience to drive growth across our industrial services portfolio. This role is field-based, engaging with plant managers, maintenance leaders, engineers, and executives to develop engineered solutions for critical equipment challenges.

The successful candidate will have a hunter mentality, strong mechanical aptitude, and a proven track record of building relationships that deliver results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial services or related markets.
• Strong consultative selling and solution-based sales skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow strategic customer relationships across industrial markets.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
• Meet with customers on-site to understand operational challenges and propose engineered solutions.
• Prepare winning proposals, scopes, and quotations for projects.
• Deliver presentations showcasing IPM's capabilities and value proposition.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field teams for project execution.
• Conduct site assessments to identify opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve growth targets.
• Represent IPM at industry events and customer facilities.
