Job summary

dcbel Inc. is seeking experienced technical sales engineers to join its Sales team. You will support channel sales, provide technical product information, and conduct demonstrations and webinars for B2B customers and partners, helping to qualify opportunities and tailor proposals.

The role requires 7–10+ years in a technical pre-sales position in the energy sector, hands-on DER experience, and the ability to travel 25%+ in the US.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in a technical, product-focused pre-sales or applications engineering role in the energy industry.
• Demonstrable experience supporting selling in a technical and product-focused role in the energy industry.
• Direct experience with distributed energy resources (solar, storage, EV charging, V2X) — product, deployment, or program side.
• First-hand field experience: commissioning, installation oversight, site troubleshooting, or utility pilot deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical content of customer proposals, including RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, and grant funding opportunities.
• Lead technical partner presentations and deep-dive sessions with utilities, aggregators, and automotive OEMs.
• Support technical product sales with demonstrations, webinars, and other technical information sessions for prospective or existing customers.
• Coordinate and conduct pre-sales activities to qualify opportunities and support B2B sales.
