Job summary

Willdan Energy Solutions seeks a Senior Field/Sales Engineer to lead energy, electrification, and decarbonization assessments tailored to customer needs. You will develop near- and long-term energy saving solutions, create ROM cost estimates, and collaborate with program engineers on incentive eligibility and documentation.

The role requires expertise in building systems (pumps, HVAC, lighting, BAS, water heating) and experience with energy project consulting for public agencies.

Qualifications

Experience in energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, and facilities energy management.
Experience with energy project consulting and public agency work is a plus.
Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage client engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage field engineering staff to meet service cycles.
Develop ROM cost estimates and energy savings for upgrades.
Coordinate client meetings and cross-team collaboration.
Perform field work from Level 1 audits to investment-grade audits.
Support new business development and mentor junior staff.
Prepare energy and sustainability planning reports for stakeholders.
