Willdan Energy Solutions, part of Willdan Group, Inc., seeks a Senior Field/Sales Engineer to lead energy, electrification, and decarbonization assessments for diverse clients. You will develop near- and long-term energy-saving solutions aligned with program goals and communicate findings through reports and presentations.

The role requires leadership in ROM estimates, incentive eligibility, and collaboration with program engineers, with significant regional travel and a California driver's

Qualifications

• 6+ years in energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, or facilities energy management.
• Experience leading project teams with senior engineers and SMEs.
• Experience self-performing energy assessments and data collection for pumps, HVAC, lighting, and building systems.
• Experience with DERs (solar, storage, cogeneration) and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field engineering staff to meet service cycle times.
• Lead client meetings and coordinate team involvement.
• Perform field audits from Level 1 to investment-grade scopes.
• Develop ROM cost estimates and energy savings for the sales cycle.
