Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for a range of engineering, product, and AI roles. You’ll partner with hiring managers and leverage AI-enabled tools to source top talent and drive rapid, quality hires.

In this hybrid role, you’ll influence stakeholders, manage the funnel with data, and maintain a superb candidate experience from intake to close. Office presence required several days per week at Durham, NC or Emeryville, CA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience; 7+ preferred.
• Agency and in-house experience a plus; enterprise software recruiting preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, outcome-oriented recruiting environment.
• Strong sourcing skills to engage candidates who aren't actively looking.
• Learning agility across different technical domains; curiosity valued.
• Advising and influencing senior stakeholders, including director/VP-level hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across a variety of technical roles (engineering, product, AI research, IT, etc.).
• Build proactive sourcing strategies beyond inbound applicants: passive outreach, talent mapping, creative channels.
• Partner with hiring managers and TA leadership as a strategic advisor; calibrate requirements with market insight.
• Use recruiting data and our AI-enabled stack to optimize funnel metrics and reports.
• Deliver a high-touch, world-class candidate experience end to end with fast follow-up at every stage.
• Evaluate candidates with structured/behavioral interviewing and calibrated scorecards.
• Keep Greenhouse accurate: postings, candidate records, and weekly status reports.
• Run post-interview debriefs and prep hiring teams with actionable materials.
• Build durable relationships across candidates, the TA team, and business partners.
