Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for a broad set of technical roles, backed by an AI-enabled stack. You’ll build proactive sourcing, influence senior stakeholders, and move fast in a dynamic environment.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week, in Durham, NC or Emeryville, CA. You will partner with TA leadership, drive a world-class candidate experience, and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve hiring

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience required, 7+ preferred.
• Agency and in-house experience a plus; enterprise software recruiting preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, outcome-oriented recruiting environment.
• Strong sourcing skills to engage candidates not actively looking.
• Learning agility to ramp across different technical domains.
• Advising and influencing senior stakeholders, including director/VP level.
• Autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous, shifting environment.
• Data-driven with recruiting funnel metrics.
• Experience with Greenhouse or comparable ATS; AI-enabled tools a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across a variety of technical roles (engineering, product, AI research, IT).
• Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies beyond inbound applicants.
• Partner with hiring managers and TA leadership as a strategic advisor.
• Use recruiting data, funnel metrics, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience end to end with fast follow-up.
• Evaluate candidates with structured/behavioral interviewing and calibrated scorecards.
• Keep Greenhouse accurate: postings, records, and weekly pipeline/status reports.
• Run post-interview debriefs and prep hiring teams with actionable material.
• Build durable relationships across candidates, TA, and business partners.
