Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives for government and commercial clients in the United States. You will drive projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time completion within scope and aligned to business objectives.

You will partner with engineering, product, operations and executives to define scope, milestones, risks, and success criteria; maintain detailed plans, RAID logs, and status reports; remove blockers and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical project or program management within technology.
• PMP or equivalent certification is required.
• Experience managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services agencies, preferably Child Welfare.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional execution.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or Microsoft ADO and cloud-based environments.
• Must be able to travel to client sites regularly and obtain Public Trust.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required; active Public Trust preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations and stakeholders to define scope, milestones, and risks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and communication plans.
• Coordinate resources, facilitate meetings, remove blockers, and drive issue resolution.
• Track progress, manage scope changes, and expedite risks to ensure delivery.
• Support process improvements and establish PM best practices and tools.
• Contribute to Business Development efforts.
