Guidehouse is seeking a Deputy Project Manager in Washington, DC area to support the Business Process Improvement Program. You will coordinate Agile workstreams, manage schedules, and prepare executivebriefings. This role requires strong PM experience and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The position involves working at client offices in Washington, DC and Guidehouse offices in Tyson's Corner, VA. Salary ranges reflect senior program roles and federal context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum seven years of IT experience.
• Five years of project management experience.
• Experience supporting business process improvement or modernization projects.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
• Experience using Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the Business Process Improvement Program.
• Coordinate Agile workstreams, deliverables, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
• Manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, staffing plans, and action trackers.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across workstreams.
• Monitor project performance, risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Develop executive status reports and briefing materials.
• Track contract deliverables and support QA reviews.
• Coordinate communications among business and technical teams.
• Support governance meetings and leadership briefings.
