Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead child welfare technology initiatives remotely in the United States. You will collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and stakeholders to define scope, milestones, risks, and success criteria, and maintain detailed project plans and RAID logs.

The role requires 10+ years in technical project management, PMP certification, and experience in State Health and Human Services engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ten+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or related roles in a technology environment.
• PMI- or equivalent certification (PMP) required.
• 3+ years managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services agencies, preferably Child Welfare.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive cross-functional execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of project management and Agile methods.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft ADO.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and communication plans for stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources, facilitate meetings, remove blockers, and drive issue resolution.
• Track progress against commitments, manage scope changes, and escalate risks as needed.
• Support process improvement and establish project management best practices across the team.
• Contribute to business development efforts.
